The „Improver’s Plateau“
(The Problem) You aren’t a beginner anymore. You can serve, you can keep a rally going, and you have some good shots. But you are stuck. When the ball hits the back glass at speed, you panic. When you rush the net, you get lobbed. You find yourself losing to „old tennis players“ who seem to do very little but win every point. This is the „Intermediate Plateau,“ and it is where 80% of Padel players stay forever. They keep playing matches, but they never actually train the specific mechanics needed to level up.
The Solution:
Structure Over Chaos The Improver Camp is designed to strip your game back and rebuild it with Padel-specific DNA. We stop you from playing „Tennis in a cage“ and teach you to trust the walls. Over 5 days, we systematically tackle the three pillars of intermediate play: Glass Defense, Net Consistency, and Court Positioning. We limit on-court time to a strict 3 hours per day to ensure that every minute is high-intensity, high-focus, and injury-free.
The Double Glass Defense
Learn the footwork required to defend a ball that hits the side wall and the back wall. We teach you to read the spin and „turn with the ball.“
The Bandeja (Safety)
Stop trying to smash everything. We teach you the „intermediate Bandeja“—a safe, deep shot into the corner that allows you to keep the net position without risking the counter-attack.
Net Positioning 101
You are likely standing too close to the net. We use video analysis to correct your „Wiper“ movement, ensuring you and your partner move as if connected by a rope.
A TYPICAL DAY IN THE CAMP!
Your day begins at 09:00 with 30 minutes of specific footwork drills—learning to stay low and pivot fast. From 09:30 to 10:45, we enter „The Lab“—high-volume basket feeding. You might hit 200 backhand glass returns in a row until the movement feels automatic. After a coffee break and a tactical theory session , the afternoon is dedicated to „Conditioned Match Play.“ We play competitive sets, but with rules (e.g., „If you win the point with a volley, it counts double“) to force you to use your new skills under pressure.
